Our IT Value Manager training

The BAMAC AKADEMIE offers seminars along its central consulting services onIT Value Growth.

The IT Value Manager training course is your career opportunity for dealing with value contribution-oriented management.

Ask yourself regularly how projects can

  • to increase the value contribution
  • for transformation
  • for digitization
  • for business process optimization

structured and processed in order to achieve sustainable success?

If you have also realized that traditional controlling approaches are often no longer sufficient or need to be supplemented, then the IT Value Manager training course is just right for you!

In times of digital transformation, it is elementary to work on the tasks of the project assignment across departments and from the perspective of the customer and the market. In order to guarantee this for recurring projects, a comprehensible procedure is required.
The BAMAC GROUP’s IT Value Maturity Model, a process model for IT organizations, is the answer to your questions and challenges.

As part of the IT Value Manager training course, we present the IT Value Maturity Model in detail and look at the IT value contribution from various perspectives. This will give you a comprehensive overview of the value contribution of IT and how you can increase it in your company.

In addition to an introduction, each seminar contains many practical learning experiences supported by case studies and can therefore also be attended independently. It is also possible to book the individual seminars and the entire IT Value Manager training course as an in-house event.

Learning content

The individual learning contents are divided into five different modules.

In the basic module (Level A), we first clarify what we mean by IT value contribution before moving on to the various subject areas. These are IT value and score management, IT benchmarking as well as monitoring and reporting. The topics of IT controlling and strategic planning and management of IT measures complete the basic module.

The other modules (Level B – E) cover the following topics:

  • IT projects
This module is about providing the key figures you need to plan and control your project in order to achieve the desired value contribution.
  • IT products
A product is the result of the combination of change and run. In this module, participants learn about key figures from the characteristics of change and run and their interaction with regard to value contribution.
  • IT portfolio
The task of IT portfolio management is to coordinate the measures that are intended to contribute to increasing the value of the company. The IT PFM acts as a bridge between strategic and operational planning.
  • IT processes
The processes module focuses on the value contribution from the perspective of the service and product. Learn about solutions to maximize overall performance and revenue in your organization.

An additional module focuses on value-oriented purchasing. When purchasing IT services, the aim is to achieve an optimum price/performance ratio on the basis of the calculated value added.
